THE HERITAGE TOUR - Edinburgh & St Andrews
Our popular Heritage Tour of Edinburgh and St Andrews is a combination of championship golf with excellent shopping & sightseeing. The first 3 nights is based in the luxury Marriott International Dalmahoy Hotel with championship golf, venue of the Ping Solheim Cup and Bells Scottish Open. We then travel to St Andrews, the Home of Golf and play the famous links courses with luxury accommodation overlooking the Old Course.
Day 1
Arrival Edinburgh Airport, Scotland. Meet and greet by driver/guide and transfer by luxury coach or car to the The Marriott International Dalmahoy Resort Hotel, Edinburgh. Play one round on Dalmahoy Championship Course. Welcome cocktails tour briefing and dinner.
Day 2
Golfers play the Royal Burgess in Edinburgh, oldest clubhouse in the world, 1735 where Sean Connery 007 and Prince Andrew are members. Non golfers visit Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace with shopping on the Royal Mile.
Day 3
Today we play Dalmahoy Championship Course, host to the Scottish Open and Ping Solheim Cup. Non-golfers visit Edinburgh Crystal Factory to see this intricate craft. Visit the Whisky Heritage Centre on the Royal Mile and shopping on world famous Princes Street.
Day 4
Transfer to St Andrews Hotel overlooking the Old Course for 3 nights. Golfers play the New Course or the world famous Old Course. Visit St Andrews woollen mill and British Golf Museum. Dinner overlooking the famous Old Course.
Day 5
Golf on the championship Jubilee Course or Eden courses. Non-golfers visit 17th century GlamisCastle and shopping in St Andrews.
Day 6
Golf on the New championship course, an excellent links in St Andrews. Non-golfers visit the quaint fishing villages of Fife with a guided tour of Scone Palace, former crowning place of Scottish Kings. Farewell cocktails and dinner.
Day 7
Depart Scotland.

Day 1
Meet and greet at Edinburgh airport by chauffeur/guide. Transfer by luxury car or coach to the five star Fairmont St Andrews -and hotel of the year 2008, the Old Course Hotel or Rusacks Hotel overlooking the world famous Old Course. Check into hotel then lunch will be served in the Links Trust Clubhouse. Golf on the championship New, Jubilee, Old Course or Kittocks Course, St Andrews. Welcome cocktails and dinner in the evening.
Day 2
Full Scottish breakfast then golf on the, New, Jubilee, Old Course or Kittocks Course. Sightseeing and shopping in St Andrews and visit the British Golf Museum. Dine out in one of St Andrews popular restaurants.
Day 3
Warm up on the driving range then golf on the New or Jubilee courses. Lunch in the Links Trust Clubhouse. Shopping and sightseeing in St Andrews. Farewell cocktails.
Day 4
Book out of hotel and golf on the Old or New courses. Lunch in the Links clubhouse then take a scenic drive to Edinburgh for last minute shopping and sightseeing. Transfer to airport for home. Bon Voyage!
